Course Expenses
The overall expenses for the Course for each participant include Course Fee of Approx. US $ 6000 besides the cost for the international travel (to/from Ahmedabad), Local tours and Living expenses.

Living Expenses -US$ 1100 per participant
The participants are expected to find suitable sponsorship for meeting the expenses while attending the course in India.
Financial Assistance to Participants
For this Course, Government of India has offered to waive off the course fee of US $ 6000 per participant of the Asia-Pacific region selected by the Centre.
Thus, no course fee is payable by the selected participants from the Asia Pacific region. However, the participants, who find suitable sponsorship or funding for meeting these expenses, will be given preference.
Government of India has also offered to the participants from the Asia Pacific region the Fellowships consisting of the following:

Living expenses in India - INR 16,000 per month for duraon of 9 months

Book allowance - INR 2,000 (one time)

Project allowance - INR 1,500 (one time)

Local tour expenses - as per given guidelines and schedules will be borne by GOI.
The Centre is also trying to obtain financial assistance for internaonal travel of the parcipants of the AsiaPacific region through agencies like

UN Economic & Social Commission for Asia and the Pacific (UNESCAP)

Ministry of External Affairs (MEA), GOI

Ministry of Finance, GOI etc.
Candidates proposing to avail the GOI Fellowship and the internaonal travel assistance have to specifically request for the same in Applicaon Form.
Preference will be given to the sponsored candidates, whose nominang organizaon provides fully or partly internaonal air travel (both ways) and/or fellowship.
