Faculty
The Faculty for the course constitutes scientists in different fields mainly drawn from Indian Institute of Remote Sensing and also from other Centres of Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) and various agencies/universities from India. The core faculty and these experts have long and varied experience in the field of Remote Sensing and GIS. International visiting faculty also conduct lectures, tutorials etc. on specialized topic in the course.
Evaluation Procedure
The performance of the participants in the Centre's programs will be assessed through both external and internal oral, written and computer-assisted interactive assessment at periodic intervals during each module of the course. Participants not able to qualify in the prescribed examination for the nine months course may be considered for awards of only a "Certificate of attendance" by the Centre.
All the participants will have opportunity to work on individual computer with state of the art hardware and software.
